The Field Scout TDR 250 Digital Moisture Sensor, launched in 2021, offers a simplified alternative to the TDR 350, focusing solely on essential soil moisture measurements.

This user-friendly device measures soil moisture in Volumetric Water Content (VWC) and is compatible with 1.5, 3.0, 4.8, and 8.0-inch probes (sold separately). While it lacks features like GPS, EC, and temperature tracking, it provides reliable moisture readings with adjustable settings for standard, high-clay, or sandy soils. Measurements can also be aligned with TDR 350 and TDR 300 units. However, it is not compatible with SpecConnect or the Field Scout App.
