It features a 15lb (6.8kg) falling weight on a 3/4in (19mm) shaft guide, which strikes the top piston of the mold set for dynamic specimen consolidation. The base includes a locating pin to ensure precise centering of the Test Mold Set, while the drop height is easily controlled with a clip on the shaft guide.
