Compatible with Windows XP and newer operating systems, this software is designed for both traditional PCs and touchscreen devices like tablets and laptops. Touchscreen users can enable large pop-up keyboards for added convenience, while standard PCs can use a mouse and keyboard setup.
Real-time calculations are performed throughout testing, with data automatically saved upon completion in compliance with ASTM and AASHTO standards. The software includes a friction angle tool for quick determination of the friction angle (ϕ) and cohesion intercept (c). Final reports feature testing agency information, company logos, sample data, test results, and detailed graphs. Reports can be exported to spreadsheets or saved as PDFs for easy sharing.
This software is optimized for use with Direct Shear Machines, including the required Four-Channel Data Readout Box, Linear Variable Displacement Transducers, and Load Cell, all of which are available separately for retrofitting other direct shear machines.
