Constant / Falling Head Permeability Test Set, 2.5in

Constant/Falling Head Permeability Test Sets are designed for testing the permeability of granular soils using either constant-head or falling-head methods. These test sets are available in a range of sizes, from 2.5 to 9.0 inches (6.3 to 22.8 mm) in diameter, accommodating various particle top sizes. The clear acrylic sample chamber provides excellent visibility during testing. While these sets are cost-effective, they do not include sidewall ports and do not fully comply with ASTM/AASHTO standards.

Each set includes a clear acrylic chamber, a compression spring, and anodized aluminum end caps with valves and ports. Tubing is also provided. Models measuring 6.0 and 9.0 inches include perforated plates for the top and bottom of specimens, while smaller sets (2.5–4.5 inches) come with two porous stones. A Single-Tube Manometer with a Constant Head Reservoir is required and included with the test sets.
