Cement Prism Mold for Volume Change Tests of Mortars, 1 x 1 x 5in, 2-Gang,
2-Gang Prism Mold is used in length-change testing of Portland cement paste, mortar, or concrete. It is also used with the Length Comparator to measure length change in cast prisms from alkali-silica reactivity (ASR) and other such causes. The mold is equipped with a base plate, removable partitions, and end plates of corrosion-resistant steel to provide the required length between ends of Gauge Studs cast on ends of bars. Dimensions from the outside end of gauge studs are 11.625in (296mm) with specimen cross-sections of 1x1in (25x25mm).
