Design and Performance: Cylindrical Ceramic Fiber Chamber
Solid or hinged chamber (dependent on model). Lightweight ceramic fiber insulation for good heat transfer and fast heat up. Elements are designed for uniformity, wire elements wound onto the outer diameter of an integral ceramic work tube (MTF and CTF 1200°C models) or wire-heating elements in a cylindrical ceramic fiber chamber (GTF and HST 1200°C models). Silicon carbide elements in 1500°C and 1600°C models for good uniformity over the length of the furnace hot zone. Carbolite Gero’s products are also suitable for modified atmosphere vacuum operations, standard and custom applications.
Safety
Safety features, control system in front of the furnace support base for easy observation and access to the controller. Power on indication, instrumentation on/off switch and “heater on” light in parallel with the elements.
