Brookfield is an ISO 9001:2015 certified world leader in viscosity standards. Our DV2T - LV (Low Viscosity) Torque Range is for measuring the thinnest of materials like inks, oils and solvents. It has an accuracy of ±1.0% of range with displayed test data.
The DV2T Viscometer has new programming and result analysis including data averaging and QC limits with alarms. Using the new Program Generator Software you can create user instructions with multi-step test protocols.
The 5-inch color display walks you through test creation and data collection for fast and easy lab viscosity measurement. Test data can be printed locally or sent to a PC. We also offer RheocalcT Software for additional automation and data collection.
The DV2T Viscometer lets you control parameters automatically for more precision and ease of use. This gives you total control over the instrument and simplifies data analysis and export. The software allows test parameters to be automatically controlled, making it more convenient and efficient for you.
Each torque range of the DV2T Viscometer is designed for specific types of materials. The LV torque range is for low viscosity fluids, with examples including inks and oils. The RV torque range is for medium viscosity materials such as creams, food products, and paints. The HA torque spring is for higher viscosity substances like gels and chocolate. For even higher viscosity materials, the HB torque range is recommended, with examples including asphalt, caulking compounds, and molasses.
