Bronze Cube Mold for 50 x 50mm Concrete Cube Casting
Bronze Cube Molds are tough and rugged and come in 2in (51mm) or 50mm sizes. The bronze casting is precision machined to produce three cubes diagonally, each cavity is designed to be filled completely with casting material for perfect cube formation. The mold has a frame to ensure stability and alignment during casting. The machined surfaces produce cubes with clean edges for precise testing results.
Several Cover Plates are available for the Cube Molds and include Standard Brass Cover Plate, 0.5in thick Plastic Cover Plate, and Brass Cover Plate with Holes for casting sulfur mortar capping compound cubes.

Metal Casting
Metal casting has been around for centuries and has shaped the world of art and industry. At its core metal casting is heating metal until it melts and pouring it into a carefully crafted mold. Lost Wax Casting
Lost wax casting, also known as investment casting, is the method of choice for artists who want to create highly detailed bronze sculptures. The process starts with creating an original sculpture, often made from clay or wax. The wax sculpture is then coated with several layers of ceramic shell, a hard exterior. Once the ceramic shell is set the piece is heated so the wax melts and drains away leaving a hollow out in the exact shape of the original sculpture. Molten bronze is then poured into this cavity filling every detail. Once the bronze cools and solidifies the ceramic shell is carefully broken away to reveal the finished bronze sculpture. This method allows for extreme detail and is used for small jewelry pieces and larger sculptures making it a cornerstone of the bronze casting process.
Tools and Equipment
Bronze casting requires the right combination of tools and equipment for the specific casting method being used. For lost wax casting the essential items are a kiln for firing the ceramic shell, a crucible for melting the bronze and specialized materials to create the ceramic shell around the wax model. Sand casting another popular method requires sand molds, pouring cups and trowels to shape and handle the sand. Regardless of the method working with molten metal demands strict safety precautions—gloves, goggles and face masks are necessary to protect against heat and fumes. The choice of equipment from the type of mold to the quality of the crucible will affect the final product ensuring each bronze piece meets the artist or engineers standards for quality and detail.
