The ASTM S15F Non-Mercury Thermometer is designed to provide accurate temperature measurements in a range from 30 to 180F. Unlike traditional mercury thermometers that pose safety and environmental risks, this thermometer uses a safe blue liquid as an alternative. The proprietary formula of this liquid is biodegradable, non-toxic, and nonhazardous.

This thermometer meets the stringent requirements of ASTM E1, E77, and E2251, ensuring its quality and accuracy. The dark blue color of the indicating fluid makes it highly visible against the white-backed stem, allowing for easy reading of temperature measurements. It is also acceptable for use in Saybolt Viscosity Testing.

With an ASTM Number S15F, this non-mercury thermometer is suitable for applications that require low softening points. The thermometer has a division of 0.2 degrees, providing precise temperature readings. It has a length of 15.7 inches (400mm), making it convenient for various laboratory uses.

To ensure the longevity and performance of the thermometer, it is recommended to store it vertically using a storage rack to prevent fluid column separation. For additional protection and thermal stabilization in ovens or other exposed environments, the thermometer well is available as an optional accessory.
