5/8in x 3ft Extendable Tile Probe Complete
Extendable tile probes are available in two sizes: 7/16" or 5/8" outside diameters, with 3' or 4' extensions. The 7/16" probe features replaceable tips with a .563" outside diameter, while the 5/8" version has tips with a .875" outside diameter. For added safety, optional rounded replaceable tips are available to reduce the risk of penetrating underground obstacles.
Each probe includes a 10" cross handle, a cross handle/slide hammer adapter, extensions, and a tip. Designed for deeper probing than standard tile probes, these tools are also ideal for preparing boreholes for soil vapor sampling. To reach even greater depths, a slide hammer can be added.
