Triaxial Test Cells for 6.0in (152.4mm) specimens are designed for optimal performance in triaxial soil testing and asphalt permeability testing. These cells are compatible with the Master Control Panel, Auxiliary Control Panel, and other manufacturers' equipment.

Built with durability in mind, these cells feature brass or stainless steel valves and fittings, along with machined aluminum bases to handle heavy loads. The chambers are constructed with heavy-wall clear acrylic or aluminum, measuring 9.625 x 18in (244.5 x 457mm) internally. The load piston is crafted from polished stainless steel with precision-ground surfaces, internally lubricated and sealed with U-cup and nylon sleeve bearings for minimal friction. Zero-volume change ball valves ensure precise operation, and the maximum operating pressure is 100psi (6.9 bar) for standard models or 250psi (17.2 bar) for high-pressure models.

High-Pressure Triaxial Cells are reinforced to operate at a maximum pressure of 250psi (17.2 bar) and come with durable brass valves and fittings.

For complete functionality, the Triaxial Test Cell Kit is required and sold separately. This kit includes an anodized aluminum cap and pedestal, two porous stones, two latex membranes, and four O-rings for 6in (152.4mm) specimens. A 1.5-gallon Deairing Tank is also recommended and available separately.
