The 6in (152.4mm) diameter test cell pedestal is constructed of black precision machined anodized aluminum and is keyed to prevent movement while seating the sample and during testing. This pedestal also serves as a base when molding non-cohesive samples using a Two-Part Vacuum Split Mold. The test cell pedestal is also grooved for O-Rings. Pedestal has two drain ports and is keyed to prevent pinching of tubing during setup.

A variety of sizes of Test Cell Pedestals are offered to accommodate 1.4-6in (35-152mm) sample diameters used in Triaxial and Permeability tests.
