6in Steel Retainer Set for Unbonded Capping
The 6in Steel Retainer Set includes pad caps for surface contact and is used with 6in Neoprene Pads (sold separately) for unbonded capping of 6in (152mm) diameter Concrete Cylinders. They hold and confine the neoprene pads and go on each end of the concrete cylinder before testing chamber. The set includes two alloy steel capping retainers made of steel, machined to specified dimensions and plated inside and out for corrosion resistance. Also includes two neoprene pads for diameter concrete cylinders and load distribution and to achieve vertical clearance. Bearing surfaces are plane to within 0.002in (0.05mm). Sold in sets of 2.
