The 6in (152mm) Soil Density Mold Components are designed for Proctor Compaction and Density Testing. Each set includes a durable steel mold body (split or solid), a base, and a detachable collar. All components are made from heavy-duty steel with a rust-resistant clear zinc plating. These components are available for purchase individually or as part of a complete 6in Soil Density Mold Set.
6in Collar Only: This detachable extension collar fits securely on top of the mold during compaction. It’s compatible with all Gilson 6in Compaction Molds, making it a versatile option without the need for a dedicated collar for every mold.
