Marshall Breaking Heads for 4 or 6in (102 or 152mm) hot-mix asphalt specimens are positioned in load frames to measure deformation under load and flow rate. The upper and lower segments are connected by two precisely machined vertical guide rods with low-friction sleeves. Marshall Breaking Heads are designed for Karol-Warner Load Frames, but can also be used with many other manufacturer’s frames.
