The Porous Stone, with a 6in (152.4mm) diameter and 0.50in (12.7mm) thickness, is crafted from high-quality aluminum oxide. Designed for geotechnical applications, this durable disc supports cylindrical soil samples, enabling two-way fluid flow during testing.

We provide a wide range of Porous Stones for laboratory applications such as triaxial shear, permeability, direct shear, and consolidation testing. These stones facilitate water and permeant flow while minimizing the risk of fine particles contaminating the system. With a permeability range of 15-18ft³ (424-510L) of air per square foot and an average pore size of 179μm, our high-quality stones are ready for immediate shipment.
