Karol-Warner’s Pneumatic Consolidation Load Frames feature the exclusive CONBEL™ design, offering precise and efficient pneumatic loading for soil testing labs. Designed to meet the toughest demands, these load frames ensure accurate and reliable consolidation testing, with low-load functionality for applying small confining loads. Pneumatic loads are applied and maintained using a precision pressure regulator, while the compact design saves valuable bench space. Digital displays show applied loads, supported by precision pressure regulators and transducers with ±0.1% linearity.

The 1in (25.4mm) thick aluminum platforms come with adjustable centering pads and accommodate consolidation rings up to 7.25in (184mm) in diameter. The platform clearance is 8.25x7.75in (210x197mm), WxH. Stainless steel vertical rods support the cross-head and dial gauge, while the enamel-coated steel cabinet provides robust protection. Each load frame includes a Loading Ball. Fixed or floating-ring consolidometers and a dial indicator must be purchased separately. An air compressor (user-supplied) is required for operation. Consolidation Data Acquisition Software, available separately, records real-time specimen and test data, providing results and reports compliant with ASTM and AASHTO standards.

The load frame has a capacity of 64tsf and requires a minimum of 188psi (13bar) compressed air for operation.
