5/8in x 4ft Extendable Tile Probe Complete
Extendable tile probes are available in two sizes—7/16" and 5/8" diameters—with either 3' or 4' extensions. The 7/16" probe comes with replaceable tips measuring .563" in diameter, while the 5/8" version features tips with a .875" diameter. For added safety, optional rounded replaceable tips are available to reduce the risk of accidental damage to underground obstacles.
Each probe includes a 10" rubber-gripped cross handle, a cross handle/slide hammer adapter, an extension, and a tip. These probes are ideal for reaching deeper depths compared to standard tile probes and are excellent for preparing boreholes for soil vapor sampling. For even greater depth, pair your probe with a compatible slide hammer.
