4in Plastic Concrete Beam Mould for ASTM Flexural Testing

The 4in Plastic Concrete Beam Mould is for concrete for flexural strength testing. This one piece mould is made of heavy duty plastic and has ribs. Available in steel and cast iron to suit different construction needs. C channel type beam moulds are also available for creating standardized beam shaped samples.

Specimen removal is easy, fast and simple. Remove from the hole in the bottom of the mould and blow air. We recommend coating the inside of the mould with a film of release agent before each use.

The plate is fixed, making the mould more robust and easy to clean. The clamped base is also durable and easy to clean.

Made from high quality steel, these concrete steel beam moulds are very robust and corrosion free, they can withstand heavy use. Some models are constructed from mild steel for enhanced corrosion resistance.

Each concrete beam mould is precision machined to give consistent results, surfaces machined flat to ± 0.2mm for a smooth finish on the cast concrete beams. Available in multiple sizes, our concrete steel beam moulds can be used for various applications, they are versatile for any construction site.

The base plate is fixed to the clamp, provides a solid base and ensures the integrity of the concrete.

Now with 2 methods to strip: To remove the specimen, we recommend coating the inside of the concrete beam mould with a film of release agent before each use.

• Compressed air: Remove the plug from the hole in the bottom of the concrete beam mould and blow compressed air.

• Insert Panels: Place the wedge insert panel with ridges facing towards the outside edge of the concrete beam mould. Then place the flat insert strip behind it. To remove, gently pry panel using any rod-like tool.
