The probe features six non-partitioned openings, each measuring 3.375 x 0.875 inches (85.7 x 22.2mm), strategically placed along its length. This design allows for the collection of a core sample that represents the material at various depths in a single pass.

How it works: The double-tube design consists of an inner and outer tube. To take a sample, keep the openings closed by rotating the inner tube. Insert the probe into the material to the desired depth. Rotate the handle to align the openings of the inner and outer tubes, allowing the material to flow in. Once filled, close the openings by rotating the handle back and withdraw the probe. The collected material can then be easily emptied for analysis.
