This Porous Stone is a high-quality, durable product designed for laboratory geotechnical applications. It measures 3in (76.2mm) in diameter, 0.50in (12.7mm) thick, and is made from premium aluminum oxide. The rigid disc supports cylindrical soil samples while allowing two-way fluid flow during testing.

We offer a wide range of Porous Stones to suit applications such as triaxial shear, permeability, direct shear, consolidation, and more. These stones enable water and other permeants to flow freely during test procedures, while minimizing the movement of fine particles into the test system.
