The AMS 421.01, 3 1/4" x 10" SRA Complete is a highly versatile soil auger and sampler that allows you to efficiently collect soil core samples while augering an access hole. The soil recovery auger features a specially shaped auger bit that cuts and lifts the soil into the liner, minimizing soil disturbance and ensuring accurate sample collection. The auger cylinder is available with either tungsten carbide hard-surfaced carbon steel or stainless steel bits, providing options to suit different sampling needs. The stainless steel version is not hard surfaced.
The AMS 421.01 includes a hollow, stainless steel top cap with a bail attached, as well as a stainless steel solid-vented top cap, both designed to securely hold the soil core sample in place during transportation. The product also comes with a plastic liner, which is 1/4" smaller in diameter than the sampler cylinder, along with plastic end caps to ensure the integrity of the sample.
To make your sampling experience even more convenient, the AMS 421.01 is compatible with 5/8" threaded extensions and cross handles, allowing you to extend the reach and improve the ergonomics of your sampling process. The product also comes with a universal slip wrench, ensuring easy assembly and disassembly.
