Linear Variable Displacement Transducers (LVDTs) are designed for precise measurement of soil deformation or movement during tests like shear, consolidation, and triaxial. These devices provide a digital output corresponding to the displacement of a reference surface. Built with durability and accuracy in mind, they feature anodized aluminum housing, a stainless steel actuating shaft with an anti-rotation device, and a double bearing system on both the shaft and spring to minimize side load errors. With a repeatability of 0.002mm, each transducer includes two fixing clamps, screws, and a hardened ballpoint gauging head.
