Load Rings, also known as proving rings, are precision instruments designed for accurate force measurement in laboratory testing. Made from high-strength aluminum alloy, they feature repeatable elastic deformation characteristics for reliable results. Force measurements are accurate to ±0.5%, with readings provided by an included mechanical dial indicator offering a resolution of 0.0001 in. A calibration chart is also included to easily convert ring deformation into force values.

These Load Rings come in eight capacity options, ranging from 250 to 10,000 lbf, and are equipped with a 1/2 in x 20 tpi mounting hole, making them compatible with Gilson and other manufacturers’ load frames and direct shear units.
