This Porous Stone measures 2.8in (71.1mm) in diameter, 0.25in (6.4mm) thick, and is made from high-quality aluminum oxide. Designed for geotechnical testing, the rigid disc supports cylindrical soil samples while allowing two-way fluid flow.

We offer a wide range of Porous Stones for various laboratory applications, including triaxial shear, permeability, direct shear, consolidation, and more. These stones facilitate water and permeant flow during testing while preventing fine particles from entering the system. Our high-quality stones feature a permeability range of 15-18ft³ (424-510L) of air per square foot and an average pore size of 179µm. All Porous Stones are ready for immediate shipment.
