2.5in Square Shear Box

Shear Boxes are essential for testing the direct and residual shear strength of soil specimens using Karol-Warner Dead-Weight and Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. These horizontally divided boxes come in various inch and metric sizes, available in square or round shapes, and are constructed from durable anodized aluminum with a corrosion-resistant Teflon® finish. Each box includes two Porous Stones for effective testing.

2.5in (63.5mm) Shear Box

Designed in a square shape, this Shear Box is ideal for testing soil specimens with Karol-Warner Dead-Weight Direct or Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. The horizontal division of the box allows for the application of opposing shear forces to the soil sample. Made from anodized aluminum with a Teflon® finish, it offers excellent corrosion resistance. The Shear Box includes a top and bottom Porous Stone and a Loading Ball for seamless operation.
