This Porous Stone measures 2.47in (62.7mm) in diameter, 0.25in (6.4mm) thick, and is made from durable aluminum oxide. Designed to support cylindrical soil samples, it allows two-way fluid flow during testing.

We provide a full range of Porous Stones suitable for various geotechnical laboratory applications, including triaxial shear, permeability, direct shear, and consolidation tests.

Porous Stones enable water and other permeants to flow and be measured during testing while preventing fine particles from entering the test system. These high-quality stones have a permeability range of 15-18ft³ (424-510L) of air per square foot and an average pore size of 179µm. All Porous Stones are in stock and ready for immediate shipment.
