Our Porous Stone measures 2.36in (59.9mm) in diameter, 0.25in (6.4mm) thick, and is made from high-quality aluminum oxide. Designed to support cylindrical soil samples, it allows two-way fluid flow during testing.

We offer a wide range of Porous Stones for various geotechnical laboratory applications, including triaxial shear, permeability, direct shear, and consolidation tests.

Porous Stones enable the flow and measurement of water or other permeants during testing while preventing fine particles from entering the system. Our high-quality stones feature a permeability range of 15-18ft³ (424-510l) of air per square foot and an average pore size of 179µm. All Porous Stones are available for immediate shipping.
