The Porous Stone, made from high-quality aluminum oxide material, measures 2.34in (59.4mm) in diameter and 0.25in (6.4mm) thick. Designed for geotechnical applications, this durable disc supports cylindrical soil samples while allowing two-way fluid flow.
We provide a wide range of Porous Stones for various laboratory applications, including triaxial shear, permeability, direct shear, and consolidation tests. These stones facilitate the flow and measurement of water or other permeants during testing while preventing fine particles from entering the system. With a permeability range of 15-18ft³ (424-510L) of air per square foot and an average pore size of 179µm, our porous stones ensure reliable performance. All products are in stock and ready to ship.
