Load Rings, also known as proving rings, are precision tools made from high-strength aluminum alloy with reliable elastic deformation properties for accurate force measurement. They deliver measurements with ±0.5% accuracy, using a mechanical dial indicator with 0.0001in resolution. A calibration chart is included to easily convert ring deformation into force values.

Available in eight capacities ranging from 250 to 10,000lbf, Load Rings are equipped with a 1/2in x 20tpi mounting hole, making them compatible with Gilson and other manufacturers' load frames and direct shear units.
