This S-Type Load Cell has a capacity of 100lbf and can be used in a variety of soil testing applications to measure compression or tension loads. Load Cells measure compressive or tensile forces, based on variations in electrical voltage. We provide a wide range of load cells, with load capacities from 50 to 20,000lbf (0.222 to 89.0kN). These S-type load cells are constructed from durable stainless steel or nickel alloy plated steel. Results can be processed and displayed through Digital Readout Boxes, available separately.
