Triaxial Compression Data Acquisition Software

System Requirements Windows XP or newer operating systems

Triaxial Compression Data Acquisition Software records load and deformation data for Unconsolidated-Undrained (UU), Consolidated-Undrained (CU), and Consolidated-Drained (CD) triaxial specimens, as well as soil unconfined compression test samples.

Triaxial Compression Data Acquisition Software simplifies the process of recording axial load and deformation data for UU, CU, CD, or unconfined soil samples. Users can manually input pore pressure values or let the software automatically detect the signal when connected to a pore pressure transducer via a data readout box. With intuitive data entry fields and guided testing prompts, the software minimizes user error and improves test repeatability.

Designed for compatibility with Windows XP or newer systems, the software is optimized for use on tablets and laptops with touchscreen controls but also functions seamlessly on desktop PCs. Touchscreen users can enable large pop-up keyboards, while traditional setups rely on standard keyboard and mouse input.

During testing, the software performs real-time graphing and calculations, automatically saving results upon test completion. It complies with ASTM and AASHTO standards and generates detailed reports, including testing agency information, company logos, sample data, test results, displacement graphs, and stress-strain curves. Data can be exported to spreadsheets or saved as PDF documents for convenience.

To operate the software, a two-channel or four-channel Data Readout Box is required. For optimal performance, the Digital Load and Displacement Kit—which includes the Two-Channel Data Readout Box, a load cell, and a displacement transducer—is recommended. Third-party load and displacement components can also be used; contact Gilson tech support for compatibility assistance.

Upon purchase, a USB security key and licensing information are provided to activate the software for permanent use.
