Heavy Duty Steel Column Form for Concrete Forming, 28in Dia X 2ft
Deslauriers Heavy Duty Steel Column forms develop an exceptionally smooth, hard surface remarkably free of voids and with a minimum number of indistinct seams. The forms are galvanized constant radius steel half round sections and quarter round sections (for forms over 48" in diameter) bolted into units for crane handling on the jobsite.
Vertical and horizontal seams, opened and closed with each pour, are connected with high speed bolts to speed setting and stripping.
In addition to the standard column diameters shown, custom diameters and lengths are also available.
Lateral pressure should not exceed 3000 PSF on forms through 36" diameter or 2000 PSF on forms over 36" diameter.
Built-in 1-1/2" lifting holes on most 4ft and 8ft forms. Lifting design of 4000 pound per hole or 8000 pounds assembled. Deslauriers recommends using lifting spreader bar for lifting all column forms.
The Heavy Duty Steel Column Form for Concrete Forming, 28in Dia X 2ft, offered by Deslauriers, is the perfect solution for creating strong and durable concrete columns. These forms are designed to provide an exceptionally smooth and hard surface, free of voids and with minimal seams.
Made from galvanized constant radius steel, the half round sections are available for forms up to 48" in diameter, while the quarter round sections are used for larger forms. The forms are bolted together into units, allowing for easy handling and transportation on the jobsite with the help of a crane.
Vertical and horizontal seams can be easily opened and closed with high-speed bolts, making the setting and stripping process quick and efficient. This saves valuable time during construction and allows for faster completion of projects.
In addition to the standard column diameters mentioned, custom diameters and lengths are also available to suit specific project requirements. This ensures that the forms can be tailored to meet the unique needs of each construction project.
While using these column forms, it is important to keep the lateral pressure within the recommended limits. The forms can withstand a maximum lateral pressure of 3000 PSF for forms up to 36" in diameter and 2000 PSF for larger forms.
For convenience, most 4ft and 8ft forms are equipped with built-in 1-1/2" lifting holes. These holes have a lifting capacity of 4000 pounds per hole or 8000 pounds when assembled. To ensure safe lifting, Deslauriers recommends the use of a lifting spreader bar for all column forms.
