Marshall Water Baths are specially designed for conditioning of asphalt Marshall Stability specimens. They can be useful in other lab applications too. Precision electronic controls to regulate fluid temperatures from ambient to 140°F (60°C ±1% of set-point, well within specified tolerances. Temperatures up to 212°F (100°C) can be achieved. Digital temperature displays operate in either °F or °C. Built-in variable speed magnetic stirrer provides optimum heat distribution and uniformity and an external drain valve makes it easy to empty the baths.
Both Water Baths feature sturdy, long-lasting all-stainless steel construction with 14-gauge tanks and covers with 20-gauge cases. The water baths are fully insulated and include a perforated 14-gauge bottom support shelf which permits 2in (51mm) water above and below specimens.
This model has a 17.3gal (65.5L) capacity and accommodate nine 6in (152mm) or sixteen 4in (102mm) diameter specimens and include a gas-assist strut feature for easy lifting of the lid.
