In a concrete compressive test, a concrete cylinder loading shelf is used to hold the specimen in place during testing. The loading shelf is steel and holds the cylindrical specimen.
The purpose of the concrete compressive test is to determine the compressive strength of the concrete. To do this, a cylindrical specimen of the concrete is made and placed on the loading shelf. The specimen is then loaded until it fractures. The maximum load the specimen can withstand before fracturing is the compressive strength of the concrete.
The loading shelf is important because it provides a flat surface for the specimen to sit on so the compressive force is applied evenly to the specimen. It also prevents the specimen from slipping or rolling during testing which could give inaccurate results.

The software provides full test control with advanced graphing capabilities and test specific modules for data analysis and presentation. It also features finger tip control, allowing seamless and intuitive operation of testing functions. Full-unit customization and robust machine control ensure easy control of testing and reporting.
Test Control and Data Management
The Triaxial Loader has four integral and independent data acquisition channels making it a versatile tool for various testing applications. It can be used as a standalone device with real-time monitoring through its 7″ (178mm) touch-screen controller with graphical chart and numerical display of tests, providing report generating capabilities. Test data is stored in the device and can be downloaded to a USB drive through the front USB port or to a computer through the LAN port, offering robust report generating capabilities. With test specific modules and report generation capabilities, the user can manage and analyze their test data for accurate and reliable results. The touch-screen interface enhances the testing functions by allowing users to monitor and control various operations seamlessly.
