The Hanna Instruments HI98196 Multiparameter pH/ORP/DO/Pressure/Temperature Waterproof Meter is the perfect tool for monitoring water quality parameters in various settings. With the ability to monitor up to 7 different water quality parameters, including 5 measured and 2 calculated, the HI98196 is a reliable and versatile logging multiparameter meter. The microprocessor based multi-sensor probe allows for the simultaneous measurement of pH, ORP, dissolved oxygen, and temperature, providing a complete profile of your water sample.
Designed with ease of use in mind, the whole system can be easily set up and provides accurate and reliable results. The probe transmits readings digitally to the meter, which can be displayed and logged for future analysis. The use of digital communication provides noise-free transfer of data for up to 100 meters in cable length, making it ideal for use in remote areas.
This multi-parameter meter has a pH range of 0.00 to 14.00 pH with a resolution of 0.01 pH and an accuracy of ± 0.02 pH. The device has automatic one, two, or three points calibration with automatic recognition of five standard buffers, or one custom buffer. It also features an ORP range of ± 2000.0 mV, mV accuracy of ± 0.5 mV, and automatic calibration at one custom point. The device has a temperature range of -5.00 to 55.00 °C, with a resolution of 0.01 and accuracy of ± 0.15 °C. For DO measurement, it has a range of 0.0 to 500.0% and a resolution of 0.1%. It also has automatic one or two-point calibration at 100% saturation and 0% saturation.
With GLP support and USB connectivity, data can be easily transferred to a PC with HI9298194 Hanna software installed. The HI98196 is powered by four 1.5V AA batteries that provide approximately 360 hours of continuous use without backlight and 50 hours with backlight. Additionally, it is designed to withstand harsh environments, with an operating temperature range of 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F) and 100% RH (IP67).
