Soil Resistivity Testing
HMA-672 Soil Box is used for soil resisitivity lab testing to determine average resisitivity of the soil to a depth equal to the spacing between electrodes (Soil Pins). The Soil Box is constructed of clear plexiglass and has removable potential pins of brass and stainless steel current plates. It can be used for 4-pin or 2-pin test methods. There are four built-in leads that connect to HMA-673 Lead Wires for Soil Box. The soil box is available individually or as an included component of the HM-940 Soil Resistivity Test Kit.
