Bleed Stability of Cementitious Grout Kit, ASTM C1741
The Bleed Stability Grout Kit is used for bleed stability of a freshly-mixed grout under static pressure, and is designed to determine the bleeding characteristics of cementitious post tensioning tendon grout. It can be used in the field as a quality control test or in the laboratory to qualify grout materials. This method for bleed stability is a standard test method for bleed stability of cementitious post tensioning tendon grout, as outlined in ASTM C1741 and related standards. When using this test method, contract documents should reference the number of required tests, as well as the test pressure and acceptance criteria desired for the testing procedure. The procedure is designed to evaluate the stability of cementitious post tensioning grout and is applicable to both concrete and post tensioning tendon grout applications. The test is performed on freshly mixed cementitious grout to determine its bleed stability under static pressure, following the standard procedures established by ASTM C1741.
The kit includes:
-
Filtration Funnel, 47mm (includes viton o-rings and stainless steel 45 µm (No. 325) screen)
