The RETSCH 207510001 Cross Beater Mill SK 300 is a versatile and reliable tool for coarse and fine size reduction. Whether you need to process medium-hard or brittle materials, this mill can handle it all.
One of the key features of the SK 300 is its adjustable speed, ranging from 2,000 to 4,000 rpm. This allows for universal use, whether you're working in a laboratory, pilot plant, or production facility. Whether you need to prepare samples or batch process materials, the SK 300 has you covered.
The function principle of the SK 300 involves size reduction through impact effects. The feed material is fed directly into the grinding chamber, where it is caught by the cross beater and ground between the baffle plates of the cross beater and the toothed grinding insert. The ground material passes through the sieve and enters the collecting receptacle, while the fine fraction is separated off by a downstream filter system.
Some of the key advantages of the SK 300 include its suitability for batchwise operation of larger quantities, easy cleaning thanks to its exchangeable push-fit grinding insert, rotor, and sieve, and a wide range of accessories available for different applications. You can adjust the speed to meet your specific needs and achieve a defined final fineness with bottom sieves ranging from 0.12 to 10 mm.
Additionally, the SK 300 comes with an electric engine brake for added safety, a central locking device, and the option for an optional cyclone.
With its high performance and ease of use, the RETSCH 207510001 Cross Beater Mill SK 300 is a top choice for anyone in need of efficient and accurate size reduction. Get yours today and experience the difference it can make in your applications.
The RETSCH 207510001 Cross Beater Mill SK 300 is suitable for coarse and fine size reduction, either in batches or continuously. It can process medium-hard and brittle materials and is easy to operate.
With its adjustable speed of 2,000 to 4,000 rpm the SK 300 is intended for universal use: from sample preparation in laboratories up to preparing sample batches in pilot plants or production facilities.
Function Principle
Size reduction in the SK 300 takes place by impact effects. The feed material passes from the hopper directly into the center of the grinding chamber, where it is caught by the cross beater and ground between the baffle plates of the cross beater and the toothed grinding insert.
As soon as the material is smaller than the aperture size of the bottom sieve used, it passes through the sieve and enters the collecting receptacle. The air drawn in through the hopper by the cross beater accelerates the discharge of the ground material. The airborne fine fraction is separated off by a downstream filter system.
Application Examples
cement clinker, chamotte, coal, coke, glass, granite, gravel, gypsum, minerals, ores, oxide ceramics, slag, soils, ...
