Compressometer-extensometers are used to determine Poisson's ratio and Young's modulus during a compression test. This device contains a third, center yoke with a hinge dividing it into two equal segments. The middle yoke is hinged to permit rotation of the two segments of the yoke in the horizontal plane. Indicator gives deformation readings. Second indicator is furnished for compressometer section. Unit measures changes in length and diameter.
This model features two digital indicators and is available in 3 separate sizes: 6" x 12", 4" x 8" and 3" x 6".
Digital Gauge models can be used with most data loggers, but do not work with the Humboldt HCM-5090.3F Controller as that controller provides the digital output on it's screen, elimminating the need for a digitial indicator.
