Heavy Duty Steel Column Form for Concrete Forming, 18in Dia X 4ft

Deslauriers Heavy Duty Steel Column forms develop an exceptionally smooth, hard surface remarkably free of voids and with a minimum number of indistinct seams. The forms are galvanized constant radius steel half round sections and quarter round sections (for forms over 48" in diameter) bolted into units for crane handling on the jobsite.

Vertical and horizontal seams, opened and closed with each pour, are connected with high speed bolts to speed setting and stripping.

In addition to the standard column diameters shown, custom diameters and lengths are also available.

Lateral pressure should not exceed 3000 PSF on forms through 36" diameter or 2000 PSF on forms over 36" diameter.

Built-in 1-1/2" lifting holes on most 4ft and 8ft forms. Lifting design of 4000 pound per hole or 8000 pounds assembled. Deslauriers recommends using lifting spreader bar for lifting all column forms.

The Heavy Duty Steel Column Form for Concrete Forming is an essential tool for construction projects that require the formation of smooth, hard concrete columns. With this column form, you can achieve outstanding results, as it provides a surface that is remarkably free of voids and indistinct seams.

Made from galvanized steel, these column forms are designed as half round sections, with quarter round sections available for forms over 48 inches in diameter. The sections are bolted together to create units that can be easily handled using a crane on the jobsite.

Setting up the column forms is quick and efficient, thanks to the high-speed bolts that connect the vertical and horizontal seams. These seams can be opened and closed with each pour, allowing for a fast and efficient workflow.

In addition to the standard column diameters, we also offer custom diameters and lengths to meet specific project requirements. Our goal is to provide our customers with versatile solutions that cater to their unique construction needs.

When it comes to safety, our column forms are designed to withstand lateral pressure up to 3000 pounds per square foot for forms through 36 inches in diameter, and 2000 pounds per square foot for forms over 36 inches in diameter. This ensures the stability and durability of the forms during the concrete pouring process.

To facilitate lifting and handling, most 4-foot and 8-foot column forms are equipped with built-in 1-1/2 inch lifting holes. These holes are designed to support a weight of 4000 pounds per hole, or 8000 pounds when assembled. For optimal safety, we recommend using a lifting spreader bar when lifting all column forms.
