4x8in Reusable TempGuard Polystyrene Concrete Cylinder Mold (9/Case)
TempGuard Reusable Cylinder Mold is 4x8in (102x203mm) and constructed of high-density EPS foam. This type of mold reduces the potential impact on concrete strength tests from temperature swings during the initial curing phase. Its unique insulating qualities offer protection from both hot and cold temperature fluctuations on the job site. The mold allows for consistent test results that more closely represent job-site conditions.
The Polystyrene mold body is suitable for an average of six uses when the Plastic Liner is replaced between each use. Plastic Liner, each with side and bottom pieces, is inserted into the 4x8in (102x203mm) expanded polystyrene mold when casting fresh concrete specimens. Concrete specimens are removed using a gentle application of compressed air through an opening in the bottom of the mold. TempGuard™ Cylinder Mold is supplied in a case of nine molds with pre-installed liners, plus 45 additional Liner Sets.
